2018 RevFest Lineup
The Fritz is a soul-driven dance rock band hailing from Asheville, NC. The group’s aggressive approach to funk, soul, and rock creates a sound that is uniquely their own. Their high-energy, danceable songs provide a platform for each member to shine. With powerful vocals, climactic solos, and tight grooves, The Fritz has built a devoted following and is captivating audiences everywhere. Originally formed in the rehearsal spaces of University of North Florida’s School of Music, The Fritz discovered an immediate chemistry. Drawing on influences such as Prince, Talking Heads and Jimi Hendrix, the quintet integrated their diverse musical tastes and began writing music together.
Holey Miss Moley is a ten piece Funk-Flavored Rock-Soul Infused Groove Factory based out of Everywhere, Florida (St.Petersburg to Orlando to Jacksonville). Their high-energy sound is reminiscent of old school 70’s funk, melded with elements of Disco, Jazz, Soul and Hip-hop creating a superb fusion that delights and energizes the crowd getting people up and dancing all night! The musicians in Holey Miss Moley have collaborated together for years and it shows through their tight-knit sound and well orchestrated music. Even better, they enjoy playing together and it creates an atmosphere of funky fun for everyone.
Florida Panhandle-based I’MAGENE (ex-Continuum) is a 4-piece band utilizing the terms Retro Electro Soul to describe their own singular style. Constantly focusing their craft, they’ve rapidly grown their fan base both regionally and nationally. They’ve spent the majority of the last year bouncing across the US multiple times consistently releasing content that documents both their journey and growth as a band. The passion and determination of these four 20-somethings is evident in everything they do and can absolutely be heard on any of their releases.
The New Earth Army is a Florida Panhandle based band focused on bringing a new spin to a tired music industry. The New Earth Army’s sound pulls influences from rock, blues, funk, jazz, and world music, to create a new yet familiar sound. Improvisation is expected and guest musicians are a treat to the audience as well as the performers. The New Earth Army is all about making music for the sake of music. Melissa Joiner (vocals), Chavis (guitar), Mike (bass), Breyson (drums), and Matt (tenor/baritone sax & flute) join forces to form the New Earth Army.
Lee “El Dub” Walsh: Lyric Extraordinaire, Musician, Composer, Multi-Instrumentalist, and Vocalist, with a love of music to no end and an even bigger passion to share it! A One Man, Reggae, Funk, Hip Hop, Soul band with a high energy, and intricate “looping” style mixed with a positive uplifting message creating a laid back, “no worries”, feel good type of vibe! El Dub plays all instruments live in real time, including, beat boxing, guitar, bass, keys and harmonizing vocals and loops them into layers that end up sounding like a full band with just one man!
Since 2005, the Savi Fernandez Band from Orlando, FL has been regularly touring and sharing stages with bands like Ziggy Marley, Dumpstaphunk, SOJA and many other national acts. Recently and the past couple of years the band has also taken their music to international waters like Costa Rica at Best Festival, Barbados and also tours in the Virgin Islands about once to twice a year. Their album “Sweet Butterfly” was recorded in 2012 at SoundLounge Studios and will be releasing their 2nd record “From My Heart” April 28th , launching off with an international CD Release Tour to the British and US Virgin Islands along with a South / North East tour in the states in the summer.
Born in Anderson, Indiana, Tyler started his professional career at the age of 13 and touring internationally at age 18. He has shared the stage or opened for everyone from Joe Bonamassa, Van Morrision, The Allman Brothers, Johnny Winter, John Rich and the list goes on and on.
Tyler has toured the world and played for thousands over the last 10 years. His debut album “Already Home” (recorded with super producer David Z) was released is 2013.
Florida based artist John Hart is an acclaimed guitar player all along the East Coast and Gulf Coast. Leading up to his creation of John Hart Project, John spent a few years touring the East Coast with the prominent Sauce Boss. The warm, rich tones of John’s classical guitar playing approach brings an exciting and fresh presence to his live show, while his unique weaving of finger picking and blues influence brings a flavor to the sound like no other. Revered as a young man beyond his time, John’s influences come from a mix of blues legends such as Muddy Waters, B.B. King and Albert Collins, to rock legends Jimi Hendrix and Duane Allman to modern monsters such as Derek Trucks and John Mayer. His latest record, “Frisson”, shines an entirely new light on the depths of his creativity and his reach.
It’s like big and jammy, and spacey, and drivey. Big Jam Space Driver is a instrumental space funk super group composed of John Hart – Guitar, Christopher Spies – Saxophone, Jonathan Ashley – Drums/Percussion, Adam Cooper – Keys, and Owen Finley – Bass.
RevFest Welcome Jam

The tradition of the “RevFest Welcome Jam” is in it’s fourth year and running strong! We invite musicians from all your favorite RevFest bands to get up on stage for a jam session to kick off the festivities! This year’s Welcome Jam will be once again hosted by the dynamic duo of the Good Lookings, made up of Myke V on guitar and vocals and Jarrod on drums. The Good Lookings are a two-piece rock band (with occasional guests) based in Destin, Florida with a rich, full sound and no harsh aftertaste. You definitely don’t want to miss out on this!
